For my Eagle Scout Project, I built a bike rack "area" for the students and visitors of St. Mark. In standard scout fashion, I had a large team of scouts coming in shifts to help out with my project. With the first shift of scouts already way ahead of schedule, I assumed that we would finish much earlier then I had earlier anticipated. Minutes later, however, our digging team had hit an unmarked irrigation line! With water pouring out into our designated area we were told that we could no longer dig in that site. As I feared the worst for my project, I began to seek out anyone who could give me permission to replace the bike rack in another site. Miraculously, I was able to find permission and the bike rack was moved. We carried on as normal and were able to finish on time!
