Registering a new Scout in Troop 1978
Whether you are bridging from Cub Scouts, or you are a boy or girl 11-17 years old, we’d love to show you how our scout-led troop works, and especially how we develop leaders through hands-on skill training and high adventure.
Our scouting year begins the first Tuesday of the school year and runs through the end of the following summer. Youth ages 11-17 can start anytime during the school year.

Registering a prospective Scout for an upcoming event
Youth ages 11-17 are welcome to attend any of our troop meetings to get a taste of that it means to be part of a scout-led troop focused on leadership development and high adventure.
Every fall we host two events specifically for prospective scouts. You don’t have to be a cub scout to come to these events or to join Troop 1978!
